‘Green T’

“We were pleased to be approached, along with 25 other renowned designers and design studios, to create a letter for the Ryman Eco Alphabet Poster project. The brief was exciting and challenging and we couldn’t wait to get our hands dirty. After watching Dan Rhatigan talk about Ryman Eco, we knew we wanted to create a simple piece that would connect the story and the font in an intuitive way. Our studio being called Bunch, we had wanted the letter ‘B’, which unfortunately was taken. We got ‘T’. The words such as 'green', 'sustainable', 'elegant' and 'eco', drove us to the idea of using letter T and having a play with the word 'tea'. Green T(ea) fit the bill. We ended up drawing around 50 various tea bags, and we played with various positioning until we reached the happy outcome.”
